A Dream is Wish Your Heart Makes

This week at La-La Land Crafts the theme is Anything But a Card!  I decided use all the new dies again to showcase them a little more!

Here you can see where I had a lot of fun using molding paste, masks and stamping on the background.  I added some gorgeous flowers from my stash from Prima, Petaloo and Kaisercraft.
I used the Groovy Elements dies and the Heart Scroll Corners Die here in black as flourishes to my flower cluster.

This layout uses the gorgeous  Arched Window Die as a focal point with my eldest DD staring dreamily out of it  I used the Tall Birdhouses Die as fun accents.

To title the layout I used the Beautiful Day Sentiments Stamp: "A dream is a wish your heart makes." adding more of the die cuts and some fun dragonflies to finish off the layout.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Best Friend

I love making vintage layouts with Riddersholm papers, but sometimes it is fun to shake it up a bit!!! I have used the brick paper on the back side of the gorgeous Tailgate Marked Moths design.

I have used lots of Prima and Petaloo flowers in my layout and added this cute camera from Wycinaka . You can see the bright Dylusions spray I used and I let the mist drip for a fun grafitti look!

I used a fun alphabet mask to make this reminiscent of grafitti to work with the wall design! Here you can see a fun paperclip and some butterflies and the gorgeous selfie my daughter and her friend took! There is another fun arrow chipboard from Wycinaka.

I used Best Friend cutout from Riddersholm as my title and made another cluster using more Wycinaka cameras, flowers and a butterfly.

I had a lot of fun trying a different look for this layout and I really hope you like it!!

Something Sweet for La-La Land Crafts!!

This week at La-La Land Crafts the theme is Something Sweet!  I decided use a sweet photo of a little girl for my theme!

I cut out the image using the oval die from the Stitched Elements Set. On top of the image I made a flower cluster using flowers from my stash and two rolled roses from the Rolled Rose Small & Medium dies.   I used the gorgeous NEW Topiary Die Set  to add some pretty accents to my design. I used the Stitched Ribbon Set in the background as part of my design feature,  To finish off the crd I tucked in some leaves and berries using the Berry Flourish Die.

Spring Fling Challenge Project for Berry71bleu

Hi scrappy friends! I'm here today with my Berry71bleu April challenge project based on  Mandy's Spring Fling Mood Board!! I used gorgeous items from Zeus and Zoe and a handmade tag made by Marivic, owner of Zeus and Zoe!! My papers and many embellishments are from 7 Dots Studio Soulmates line!

I used a beautiful tag from Zeus and Zoe that I thought had great Spring colors. The photo is of my eldest when she was younger, harvesting salad from a garden bed. I love the title Smile, Breathe, and Enjoy Life!  My flowers and the butterfly rub ons come from a Zeus and Zoe kit, love them!

I just love all the tags, stickers and words from 7 Dots Studio Soulmates line. I layered up lots and lots of them!!!

La-La Land Crafts New Release for April 2015!!

La-La Land Crafts make the most amazing dies. They cut like a dream and have so many amazing designs!! Just check out their new die release (and their gorgeous stamps if you are a colorer!!!)

There are lots of great garden themed dies in this release and I decided to make some quirky layouts using images of my girls in different scenes!!! Here is my first layout:

For this first layout I actually had my daughter pose for the idea I had! I wanted to have her leaning out the gorgeous Arched Window Die.

Here you can see where I have added a die cut from the Groovy Elements Die Set. I also used the Stitched Ribbon Die Set  to build up a nice texture and design for my background. I took a piece of lace from my stash to make a little lace curtain in the window!!

I put the potted plants in the window and had my daughter holding the rake and shovel from the Love To Garden Die Set. I thought it would be so much fun to put the dies to use in a vignette using a real photo! I hope you like it! I added some flowers from Prima and Petaloo and titled it My Little Gardener!

For this layout I used a photo of my girls harvesting some lettuce in our garden when they were younger and set a little garden scene. I layered some papers to add to the design and added the Heart Scroll Corners Die to finish off the design.

I used the cute Groovy Border Die at the bottom of my daughters image to make it seem like they were in a lush flower and veggie filled garden.  The Diamonds Lattice Border covered in flowers is kind of reminiscent of a flower planter.

I also added the Tall Birdhouses Die  and Topiary Die  to set the scene. I titled it Love Life.

The dies are stunning and are selling quickly! Pop on over and get yours soon!!

Sweet Layout for Riddersholm Design

This week I am featuring papers from Vintage Venture again for my layout! I chose this delicate Blossoms page for my base as it fit perfectly with the vintage image I chose.

I have used some cutouts from both Vintage Venture and Fall Flea Market collections to layer up my page, adding some small pieces from the Farewell page. The flowers in the cluster are Prima and some beautiful Ink-it Cherry Blossoms!

Here you can see one of the Riddersholm Flairs, a clock, tucked into the layout. I have used some gorgeous Dragonflies from Reneabouquets which link to the dragonfly imagery in the cutouts.

I've tucked in some gorgeous Wycinaka filigree chipboard within the photo cluster. To finish it off I have used masking molding paste, gelatos, stamping and some splashes of mist.

Thank you so much for visiting and I hope you have found some inspiration here today!!

Moment Layout for La-La Land Crafts

This week at La-La Land Crafts the theme is Anything Goes with Butterflies or Buttons!  This week I decided to do a layout featuring my oldest non camera shy daughter in a quiet pose at a county fair last summer, she was hanging out with some cute rabbits you can kinda see in the corner of the photo!!  Of course I used many of the La-La Land Crafts dies!!

I started with the Picket Fence Die at the base of my layout, adding some corrugated cardboard underneath my photo. The Open Hearts Doily Border also fit effectively in the background of my layout.

I added three butterflies using the Fancy Butterfly Die to my photo cluster, I thought they really fit the calm mood of the photo. For my flower cluster the Open Leaf Flourish Die always is a gorgeous accent. Finally, I added some hanging hearts from the Hanging Hearts and Love Words Set.

I added some masking, molding paste and stamping to my layout and layered papers and distressed the edges. I really love working on my layouts using these gorgeous dies!!

Easter Greetings for La-La Land Crafts

This week at La-La Land Crafts the theme is Easter or Spring!  I thought the stitched oval from the Stitched Elements Dies was perfect for me to design my own egg with and I used this as the main element of my card.

For the base of my card I used the fun bright Prairie Chic papers from BoBunny. I added the Small Lacy Border Die as an accent.

To "decorate" my egg I used the Stitched Zigzags and the stars from the Moon and Stars Banner Die. I found a great vintage Easter image and used the Stitched Nested Circle Die to cut it out and added it as the focal point of my design.  I had a great time coming up with this idea this week for my Easter card.
