You Were Born To Shine: A Layout using the Scrappery Violet Kits

Hello scrappy friends!! Cathi back again!  This week I have a layout featuring my eldest daughter, who won't stop growing up!!  This layout features a photo of my daughter at the latest, Halloween, disco (hence the tiara, she was a queen lololol!)  I just love the Violet Kits and the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Studios Bohemian Dream collection I used to make this layout.  I love the watercolor look of my base page, Dreamer, found in the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK).

I took a cutout quote from the Bohemian Bits paper found in the Pretty Little Kit (PLK). I layered it on top of the photos of my daughter up on foam tape.  Here you can see the doily from the TSK that I layered under the photos.  I have used both the paper and vellum ephemera around the photo. The paper ephemera is from the TSK and the vellum ephemera can be found in the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK). The twine and sequin is from the Pretty Little Pieces in the BPK and the heart and dot puffy stickers can be found in the TSK.

In this close up you can see the flair button butterfly that is in the TSK.  The purple paint is from Kaisercraft and can be found in the Colour Kit (TCK) along with the Distress Crayon in Pistachio that I added a little cross in the background.  The happy snaps sticker is from the cardstock stickers from the Bohemian Dream collection in the BPK.

In this photo you can see more of the cardstock word stickers from the BPK, along with the diamante embellishment found in the Pretty Little Pieces in the TSK. I think it tones in perfectly with the tiara in the photo!

So many layers and details in the layout, I've added more paint and ephemera here.

I just love how much you can work with in these kits, it makes every layout or project just look full of detail! I hope that you will come and have a look at the kits and consider subscribing!!  You can find the subscriptions HERE.

"Wild" Card Set from The Scrappery Kit Club Violet Kits!

Hello my crafty friends! I'm back again!!  This week I have a set of cards using the gorgeous Violet Kits.  I love all the elements included in the kits, as I have so many options for layering when I make my cards.  I just love the gorgeous images and colors in the Bohemian Dream line from Cocoa Vanilla Studio that is featured in the Violet kits.

My first card I chose the Flower Child paper from the Bohemian Dream collection found in the main scrapbooking kit (TSK). I added a stitched border in white around the paper for a nice detail.  I then added a chipboard frame to the card from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK)  On top of the frame I added the butterfly and the Stay a little bit Wild cutouts from the Bohemian Bits paper in the Pretty Little Kit (PLK).  I added the flower ephemera from the TSK as well as the flair. For my final touch for the card I added some pink bling from the TSK as well!

This is my favorite card this week, I just love that little bird!!  I used the Abstract paper from the TSK as my base and then used the bird image cut out form the Bohemian Bits paper in the PLK. I added a stitched frame around both of them for a nice detail and to tie them together with the other card in the set!  The "cherish" die cut I've added in a layer over the bird image which was raised on foam tape. Both the flower ephemera and the cherish die cut are from the TSK.  I finished off the card with some gold bling from the BPK.

I love to make cards with our kits as they are full of gorgeous papers and embellishments to make so many gorgeous and detailed cards!  Next week I will be doing a layout with the kits, so you can do so many types of projects!  I hope that you will come and have a look at the kits and consider subscribing!!  You can find the subscriptions HERE.

Planner Projects with the Scrappery Violet Kits

Hello my friends! I'm back again!! I am so excited to be back sharing my projects for the newest kit from the Scrappery, the Violet kits!  Australian Post lost my last kit in transit and it has been an age since I have created with the kits and I am excited!!  This week I decided to decorate my planner with the gorgeous Bohemian Dream collection! I make lots of notebook covers, dashboards, folders and a weekly bullet journal spread.

When I decorate my planner, I always make a slipcover for my Hobonichi planner! I love that it protects my planner and looks absolutely gorgeous at the same time.  I've used the Dream Big cutout from the Boho Bits paper in the Pretty Little Kit (PLK) Project Life kit, two of the gorgeous birds from the Bits and Pieces Kit (BPK) and the text stickers from the PLK. The cover paper itself is the gorgeous floral Abundant paper from the main Scrapbooking Kit (TSK). The text stickers and the navy bling were also from the PLK.

I always like to make a folder for my traveler's notebook when I change my decor. I chose the bright and cheery Gypsy Heart paper from the TSK to make mine this month. I added some layers using a 4x6 paper and the gorgeous dreamcatcher cutout from the PLK. The chipboard hearts and gold bling are from the BPK. The text stickers are again from the PLK.

I have two dashboards that I use to cover inserts and I switch out the covers in them each time. For this one I used the fun navy polka dot Abundant paper from the TSK and added the cutout quote from the Boho Bits paper in the PLK and some of the ephemera and heart stickers in the TSK.

I love the quote on this one. I used the Flower Child paper from the TSK, a chipboard sticker from the BPK and the heart and dot stickers and feather ephemera from the TSK.

I always do a weekly bullet journal spread and this week I have used my gorgeous paper, stickers and ephemera for my spread.  My date flags are using the Dreamer paper from the TSK, I just punched them out and glued them in!  I used lots of stickers from the PLK and the butterfly ephemera from the TSK.

I hope you like the projects I have made for this week! These kits are so full of goodness and can work with so many different types of projects! I hope that you will come and have a look at the kits and consider subscribing!!  You can find the subscriptions HERE.
